More Irish mysteries

I have found more writers that use Irish detectives in their stories. One writer is Declan Hughes. His character, Ed Loy, is a private detective in and around Dublin. The books so far are: The wrong kind of blood, The color of blood, and The price of blood. I am currently reading The dust of death, by Paul Charles. The character in this book is Garda Inspector Starrett, in County Donegal.
I like to read fiction, because I feel I can learn about a place, without being bored by dry academic writing. That is why I read the series by Morgan Llwelyn, the Irish Century series.
